Who We Are
We are three Mitakoodi - Gangalidda sisters from North West Queensland and a lifelong friend, united by a shared vision to make the world a better place for all people. Our specialty skills have been shaped by life experiences, hands-on work, and the knowledge we have developed across diverse careers, including extensive experience in the resource sector across Queensland, New South Wales, the Northern Territory, and Western Australia.

Natalie
Natalie is a Human Resources professional and Indigenous Engagement specialist with over 20 years’ experience across construction, government, training, education, tourism, and health sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Business (HR) and focuses on supporting MEC to build a sustainable, enduring organisation that preserves Mitakoodi culture and promotes the social, emotional, and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Kristal
Kristal has more than 20 years as a Health professional, Registered Nurse with over 20 years’ experience across multiple areas of health, including rural and remote communities and Aboriginal health services. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Sciences and a Graduate Certificate in Disaster & Emergency Management. Kristal brings expertise in clinical governance, health promotion, community health, and program management, guiding the development and delivery of programs to ensure quality care and community support.

Sherry
Sherri is an experienced senior manager with qualifications in Communications/Marketing, Business, and Psychology. She has worked extensively in Housing, Construction, Government, Indigenous Affairs, Stakeholder Engagement, Project Management, and consulting.

Charity
Charity has a strong background in digital communications, administration, and event coordination. She has supported numerous community initiatives in North Queensland through website development, social media management, and cultural projects. Charity has volunteered in youth engagement, digital literacy workshops, and works closely with organisations like the Mitakoodi Elders Council to ensure cultural stories and values are visible and respected online. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Interactive Entertainment Technology and a Certificate III in Social Media Management.
